Pete Dafeet - Deep Life EP out now on 12" Vinyl
After some delays with the pressing, we our proud to bring you Headtunes 5th vinyl release.
HTR 005 Deep Life EP is out now on 12" Vinyl
Out August 25th at all digital retailers.
Pete Dafeet is what you call a mover and shaker in this industry. At age 24, he has already started one of the world’s hottest house labels, Lost My Dog with partners in crime Strakes and Nags Modhwadia and has recently started a new label called Southside Shuffle. Pete is one of deep house’s young emerging artist, with a slew of sizzling releases on such labels as Uniform, Shaboom, Bosh Records, and Robsoul.
This EP is nothing short of spectacular. Pete takes you back to the time when house music moved the body and the soul. It was a time of innocence and excitement, when the music alone created the vibe. The Deep Life EP recreates that long lost vibe, with a new found sense of maturity and refinement.
A1. Time Under takes you on fun melodic journey through our world of love for everything deep, with soothing vocals and body shaking drums beats.
B1. Moscow is that track that will put smiles on people’s faces with its techy pop synth rhythm, and subtle bass line.
B2. Moscow (The Candy Dealers remix) take the original, turns it into a big room monster and drops in some hot new vocals.

What they are saying:
Mark Farina - Charting Number 2!
Fred Everything - Moscow is my pick!
Johnny Fiasco - Very Solid release – feeling the deepness here!
Oivier Desmet - love the pads on "life in dub" - great slice of late night deep house. good stuff, full support at primal.
Murray Richardson - great ep all round, life in dub is a great track too...!
Atnarko - Life in Dub and TCD remix are my picks here. TCD offer a nice clubby feel to the package
Spettro - Love the fun, banging vibe the Candy Dealers turned out here! I’m really diggin the latin percussion too….will be playing this for sure
Damien Bailey (Special Interest) - A really nice ep. I’m lovin the candy dealers mix, we will be playing this!
Nacho Marco (Loudeast Records) - Following Pete´s career for a while now, and I think this is the best I´ve listened from him. Like the whole ep.
Rob G (Om Records - Endup / Harlot / Wish) - The original of life in dub is the one for me.
Blacksoul (Pressure Radio UK / SSRadio UK / Freelancer) - no doubt Pete is one of the best of new breed of UK deep house. like it and support it.
Ric Mcclelland (scope) - life in dub is real nice! i really dig pete's deeper sounds! will def. be playing this 1 out!!
Al Bradley (3am Recordings / Sankeys, MCR / Dirty Filthy, Burnley) - More class dubby output from Pete, he's a bit of a master at this "rolling groove" dubby groove stuff & I play so many of his tracks out it's sometimes a bit daft... Anyway, 'Moscow' is the cut for me, superb stripped down house, perfect for that bit of the night I love playing most i.e. the bit where you're teasing people & locking them into your vibe, just before the 'main' part of the night! 100% quality.
Tom Golden (Homegrown/Stylus) - Liking the funky vibes of the Candy Dealers remix, really cool.
Tyler Stadius - Sweet tunes. :)
Kelvin K - Life In Dub is the one for me! Can def use the Candy Dealers Remix also.
Sir Cosmic (www.myhouse-yourhouse.net) - Really dig life in dub, and the candy dealers remix of moscow.
James Connor - love the way the groove flows on track 3 - quality. love the break too, wicked sounds
DJ Linus - i´m very much into that spaced out house sound...
Matt Masters (Various/ Freerange Records Podcast/ Ibiza Sonica FM) - Life in Dub does it for me on here. Nice and deep...

Largest Record Collection in the World
I found this link on a forum and was totally overwhelmed by it. This man has the largest collection in the world that is estimated to be worth $50 million dollars. 80% of his records are not commercially available anywhere.

They are not on cd, not itunes, not on tape.....they are no where. If only I could.....I would buy it all!

Headtunes Now available on AMIESTREET.com
Amiestreet.com is one of the hottest digi download sites out there at the moment. Songs start out free and then increase in price as demand dictates.
I have just finished uploading most of our catalogue so if you hit up Amiestreet.com then you will probably get our tracks LEGALLY for as little as nothing!
It's an awesome site and there are tracks up there from some of my own fav's not just in dance music but from the indie circuit too. Example... The Walkmen just recently released their album exclusively on Amiestreet.
Anyhow there is a $5 credit that Amiestreet will give our friends when they sign up and you can use it to buy a crapload of songs. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
